Diamond Jubilee Year 2005

Born in 1944, the college is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee during the current academic year (2005-2006). A special “Diamond Jubilee Year Souvenir is under preparation, which work is being overseen by a DJY Committee. The Management of the College wish to make this Jubilee Year memorable by adopting quantum strides in development of the college in the areas of academics infrastructural facilities such as buildings, sports, library training aids etc as well as programmers for improving the Several new proposals have been contemplated to fulfill the Vision set by the Management. These are :

New Streams Introduced

Commerce in +2 with 128 seats and in +3 (Pass) with 64 seats. Self- financing course in computer application Introduction Computer Course additional subjects for +2 and +3 students.

New Training Aids

Introduction of E -Library.

Computerisation of Office, Accounts and Inventory Management.

Website for the College.

Provision of ‘Internet’ facilities for the students & staff.
